About this Edition
AERO, the premier event for general aviation, successfully conducted its live edition in 2023. The event, which took place from 19 to 22 April at Messe Friedrichshafen, marked a significant gathering for industry professionals and enthusiasts after a hiatus caused by the pandemic.
With over 600 exhibitors from 35 countries and a footfall of 33,000 visitors, AERO Friedrichshafen 2023 became a global hub for the latest in aviation. The expo featured six primary sectors: Business Aviation, Drones, E-Flight, Helicopter, Conferences, and Ultralights. Each sector showcased cutting-edge products, avionics, and maintenance services.
Throughout the show, attendees experienced special exhibits such as ENGINE AREA and AVIONICS AVENUE. The Be a Pilot show provided valuable insights for aspiring pilots, while the Flight Simulation Area offered engaging demonstrations for both novices and seasoned pilots. In addition, special highlights like the e-flight expo, AERO Sustainable Aviation Trail, and AERODrones UAS Expo drew significant attention.
During the event, an extensive conference program featured over 200 talks. Industry experts and thought leaders delivered workshops and presentations, contributing to the knowledge exchange that AERO is known for.
