About this Edition
ARCOmadrid 2023, the 42nd International Contemporary Art Fair of Spain, took place from 22 to 26 February. The event was set in Madrid, within the spacious Halls 7 and 9 at IFEMA - Feria de Madrid. This year's theme, 'Mediterranean: A Round Sea', curated by Marina Fokidis, brought together the artistic scenes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.
Throughout the show, over 93,000 visitors, 500 collectors, and 1,300 artists engaged in networking and discussions about the future of contemporary art. In addition, the event featured guided tours, networking spaces, and themed galleries such as 'Opening' and 'Never the Same. Latin American Art'.
During the event, the Guest Lounge served as a hub for inspiration and project development, drawing from the Mediterranean theme. Each aspect of ARCOmadrid 2023 was designed to foster a deeper understanding of the contemporary art market and its vibrant communities.
