About this Edition
The 12th EAN Congress took place in Switzerland from 27 to 30 June 2026 at Palexpo, Geneva. This annual meeting, organized by the European Academy of Neurology (EAN), attracted around 7,000 professionals, including researchers, clinicians, academic representatives, patient advocates, and industry partners.
EAN Congress 2026 showcased over 3,200 abstracts on significant topics. The theme, ‘Brains, Bytes & Beyond: Tech in Neurology’, explored various aspects of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and other innovative technologies in relation to clinical neurology. Throughout the event, this recurring theme was featured in numerous sessions and lectures, as well as in two workshops and a dedicated symposium:

- AI in Outpatient Neurology, workshop on 28 June
- Innovations in Neurology: From Brain Machine Interface to AI, symposium on 29 June
