Latin America's premier mining trade fair, Expomin, took place in Santiago, Chile, from 24 – 28 April 2023. Adapting to the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic, the event successfully hosted over 40,000 participants at Espacio Riesco and aimed to surpass visitor expectations.

The 17th edition of Expomin showcased a wide range of sectors including mining exploration, geological services, drilling, blasting, waste treatment and disposal, and earthworks. International exhibitors, from manufacturers to service providers, presented their innovative and high-quality solutions. The event attracted an expert audience comprising executives, procurement specialists, and managers, with more than 70,000 professional visits recorded.

Throughout the show, Expomin served as a vibrant knowledge hub. Its Business Roundtable featured seminars and discussions on current industry topics, while the Technical Talks programme allowed exhibitors to demonstrate and detail their products. Targeted business meetings on the show floor encouraged the development of profitable partnerships between suppliers and buyers.
