Food Africa 2022, the premier trade fair for the food and agricultural industries in Africa, took place from 5 – 7 December 2022 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo. The 7th edition of the event showcased a significant increase in attendance, continuing a trend of growth following a previous postponement due to Covid-19 restrictions.

With over 21,500 visitors from 32 countries, Food Africa 2022 served as a global hub for suppliers and buyers in the F&B and agriculture sectors. The expo featured a diverse selection of food and specialty products from local, regional, and international markets, providing a platform for meaningful business connections.

Throughout the show, a dedicated networking platform facilitated partnerships, while The Hosted Buyers Program highlighted the event's B2B focus, drawing 476 international buyers and businesses from more than 60 countries. In addition, attendees experienced a Live cooking Show, ideal for culinary demonstrations, and the Food Africa Conference, where top researchers and international experts discussed Food Service and food Technologies.
