About this Edition
The 8th edition of the annual HortEx, the trade fair for the horti- and floriculture sectors, was held between 20 and 22 May 2026 at BITEC - Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre in Thailand. The new expo hosting location was part of a strategy to alternate locations yearly between Vietnam and Thailand, ensuring broader economic impact and numerous business opportunities. HortEx highlighted cutting-edge technologies and solutions in the fruit, vegetable, and floriculture industry.
HortEx Thailand 2026 ran in parallel with AGRITECHNICA Asia, a renowned event for agricultural machines. This co-located format focused on cross-agriculture synergies and effective business development strategies. HortEx 2026 showcased key product areas including Fruits and Vegetables, Flowers and Plants, Technical Systems, Post-Harvest Handling, Logistics and Services. Over 10,000 m² of exhibition area featured the International Fruit & Vegetable Sourcing hub, the Premium Flower showcase, and various country pavilions.
The program included networking and learning activities such as technical seminars, the Export Forum, VIP Buyer Program, and Grower Talks. More than 35 essential topics were discussed, with over 45 global speakers hosting seminars and lectures.
