From 4 – 9 October 2022, the motorcycle industry gathered in Cologne, Germany, for Intermot 2022. This event marked the 8th edition, which was delayed from its original 2020 schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers redoubled their efforts to ensure that this iteration would be a memorable addition to the sector's history.

Over 1,000 companies participated, filling the halls of Messe Cologne with a vast array of products, services, and innovations. The exhibition was divided into two main zones: Customised and E-Mobility. Attracting over 200,000 visitors, Intermot 2022 provided exhibitors with the chance to present their offerings to a wide-ranging audience, from newcomers to seasoned bikers, and to network with numerous industry professionals. Throughout the show, an extraordinary programme of events took place. This included test tracks, driving circuits for attendees, professional biker demonstrations, informative conferences, and contests such as the AMD World Championship of custom bike building.
