About this Edition
The jazzahead! 2024 trade show unfolded at Messe Bremen from 11 to 13 April 2024, bringing together a global community of jazz enthusiasts. As the largest international jazz trade fair, the event hosted musicians, labels, agencies, and festival organizers to foster new connections and showcase emerging talent.
Throughout the show, attendees experienced a diverse range of activities. The Showcases event, open to the public, featured 40 formations and bands from Germany, Europe, and overseas, including a special focus on the Netherlands, the partner country for the year. On 13 April, the Gala Concert and Mambo highlighted performances by Maite Hontelé, Ramón Valle & Ronald Snijders, captivating the audience with their rhythms.
In addition to the musical performances, the trade fair offered an educational programme with expert-led lectures and discussions, alongside competitions and networking hubs. These elements combined to create an enriching environment for professionals to explore new horizons within the jazz industry.
