About this Edition
The Marca by BolognaFiere trade fair, held on the 12th and 13th of April 2022 in Bologna, Italy, successfully adapted to a rescheduled date to provide a safe and effective experience for all attendees. As the premier event for the private label sector, Marca 2022 served as a key meeting ground for retailers, co-packers, and the distribution industry.
Throughout the show, over 850 manufacturers and top retail brands showcased their products across three main exhibition areas: Food, Non-Food, and Packaging (Marca Tech). In addition, new special exhibition areas such as the Wine Area, Marca Fresh, and the Free From Hub were introduced, drawing significant interest from the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) community.
During the event, more than 12,000 professionals, including buyers and trade delegations from over 30 countries, engaged in meaningful B2B meetings. The fair also provided a platform for knowledge exchange, with dedicated conferences addressing market trends and current issues such as traceability, digital innovation, and organic products within the private label industry.
