The renowned European trade fair for medical technology, MedtecLIVE, returned to Stuttgart for its 2026 edition from 5 to 7 May at Messe Stuttgart. The event gathered thousands of professionals from Germany and beyond, focusing on the future of the industry.

MedtecLIVE 2026 featured essential industry topics, with digitalisation and sustainability highlighted as key factors for growth. The edition was officially opened by Prof. Dr. med. Tobias D. Gantner, who hosted a presentation titled X-Ray Glimpse into the Future. Over 370 exhibitors showcased their high-quality offerings across more than 14,800 sq m of exhibition space. The product line-up included measuring, testing & validation; services in biomedical engineering, medical technology, and electrical components; contract manufacturing and medical device production; processes, automation, manufacturing & machinery; and raw materials & components. Specialized areas dedicated to start-ups and young professionals also attracted considerable interest.
