About this Edition
The inaugural edition of MIP London 2025 took place from 23 to 27 February 2025, marking a new chapter for the television content community. This event replaced the well-known MIPTV, creating a fresh global platform for industry professionals to convene in London, United Kingdom. Set in the West End's IET London: Savoy Place and the adjacent Savoy Hotel, the event fostered five days of networking, idea exchange, and deal-making.
Throughout the show, MIP London 2025 featured a variety of activities designed to facilitate connections among distributors, producers, commissioners, and qualified buyers. The event also included the familiar MIPDOC and MIPFORMAT, with MIPDOC showcasing documentaries and factual productions, while MIPFORMAT delved into emerging content trends and innovative format concepts. Dedicated meeting lounges provided a comfortable setting for discussions and negotiations.
In addition, the event ran concurrently with two other significant industry gatherings, the BBC Studios Showcase and the London TV Screenings, creating a dynamic and comprehensive environment for participants to immerse themselves in the latest industry developments across multiple genres.
