About this Edition
After a hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, Le Salon du Végétal made a successful return in 2022. The event took place in Nantes, France, at the Exhibition Center of Angers from 13 to 15 September. As a premier trade show for the plant industry, it brought together a diverse array of participants for an in-person experience.
Throughout the show, Le Salon du Végétal 2022 served as a hub for sourcing, inspiration, and innovation. It promoted plants and their applications across health, cosmetics, and food. The exhibition was divided into three main sectors: Plants, Equipment, Materials and Inputs, and Services and Sector. Over 300 exhibitors were present, offering attendees a look at novel species of plants, cutting-edge equipment, and professional services.
During the event, the Innovert competition highlighted the best innovations in the plant sector across four categories. The Pixel Garden provided a space for breeders and producers to showcase their offerings, while the Green Party, held on 10 September, set the stage for networking before the main event. In addition, a designated area for training and education supported start-ups and newcomers to the industry.
Visitor hours spanned from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 13th and 14th of September, with the final day closing at 5:00 pm. An afterwork session on the 15th allowed for extended interaction among attendees. Journalists and exhibitors had early access each day, starting at 8:00 am, with proper accreditation.
