From 9 to 12 April 2026, agra, the German trade fair for agricultural, forestry, and food sectors, brought together professionals from eastern and central regions of the country. Leipziger Messe welcomed approximately 1,000 exhibitors and brands, along with more than 51,000 trade visitors. Under the theme Animals – People – Environment, the event showcased breakthrough agricultural technologies and solutions.

The event occupied Halls 2 and 4, as well as outdoor space for demonstrations of heavy machinery. Major themes included agricultural equipment, renewable energy and sustainability, forestry, plant production, and animal husbandry and breeding. Representatives from state institutions, universities, institutes, farmers’ associations, and municipal companies participated to discover sector novelties while fostering community through partnerships and productive dialogue.

During the four days of agra 2026, organizers provided networking opportunities such as the Agricultural Policy Forum and the Women in Agriculture Action Area. Various competitions, tastings, shows, and other entertaining activities were also held.
