About this Edition
Art Basel will return for its 2027 edition from 17 to 20 June, with Preview days on 16-17 June. This renowned art trade fair brings the global art community to Messe Basel for a face-to-face event each year. The event will welcome over 90,000 collectors, art lovers, curators, galleries, museums, and other art institutions for a dynamic four-day experience.
As a major centre of international art, Basel will transform into a bustling art hub featuring multifaceted presentations, installations, and live practices. Attendees can expect to see works from over 4,000 established and emerging artists, showcasing modern and post-war art collections, historical rediscoveries, and other artworks that reflect artistic depth and heritage across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The 57th edition of Art Basel will host nearly 300 galleries, 270 museums, and numerous cultural and arts institutions. The previous year’s introductions of Basel Exclusive, which presents collaborations between galleries, and Zero 10, dedicated to artists and digital technologies, are anticipated to attract significant interest. In addition, the well-known sectors of Unlimited and Parcours will showcase over 55 projects, including sculptures, films, and live performances.
Art Basel 2027 will emphasize learning and business networking, offering engaging support activities and events for attendees. Highlights of the agenda will include the Conversations programme and the Art Basel Awards, which honour artists, media professionals, curators, and other creators across nine categories.
