Art Paris 2023

Art Paris 2023, the prominent trade fair for modern and contemporary art, took place from 30 March to 2 April 2023 at the Temporary Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris, France. This year marked the 25th anniversary of the event, which drew in 130 modern and contemporary art galleries from over 20 countries.

During the event, two main themes captivated attendees. The first, Art & Commitment: A Focus on the French Scene, curated by Marc Donnadieu, showcased 20 artists of various generations exploring the concept of 'commitment'. The second, Exile: Dispossession and Resistance, curated by Amanda Abi Khalil, featured 20 international artists from participating galleries, each with a unique take on the theme.

Throughout the show, Art Paris 2023 highlighted the 'Solo Show' sector, emphasizing monographic exhibitions. This focus allowed for enriched business networking in a setting conducive to in-depth discussions about art. In addition, the 'Promises' section shone a spotlight on young galleries, offering a glimpse into the future of contemporary art.
