IMOT, the esteemed motorcycle trade show in Munich, faced an unprecedented hiatus with the 2021 and 2022 editions being cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns. However, the anticipation for IMOT's return was finally met in February 2023. Over 60,000 attendees, including industry representatives and motorcycle aficionados, marked their calendars for the 24th to 26th of February to witness the event's comeback.

For the first time in its history, IMOT expanded its horizons by moving to the spacious halls of Messe Munich. This relocation allowed for the introduction of innovative concepts and a broader exhibition space. During the event, more than 300 exhibitors showcased the latest in motorcycle designs, trikes, scooters, quads, custom and used bikes, as well as accessories and equipment. In addition, IMOT served as a central platform for e-mobility, presenting cutting-edge solutions in the field.

Throughout the show, attendees engaged with an array of supporting events. These ranged from special exhibitions featuring the newest in racing technology to classic vintage bikes. A youth program and numerous test drive opportunities further enriched the experience. IMOT 2022 also coincided with f.re.e, Bavaria’s largest travel and leisure fair, which took place in the neighboring halls, providing an additional draw for visitors.
