About this Edition
MEDCARE, Germany's focal point for clinical and extra-clinical patient care, resumed in 2022 after a brief hiatus due to the pandemic. MEDCARE 2022 took place in Leipzig, uniting nursing care specialists and managers on the 5th and 6th of October. The event stood out as the country's premier gathering with a holistic approach to patient care.
During the event, the MEDCARE congress delivered a programme rich in practice-oriented solutions and advanced training. The focus was on treatment care, covering modern wound care, hygiene, medical nutrition, incontinence care, palliative medicine, pain management, and intensive care. Nearly 100 lectures and workshops allowed for in-depth discussions on current issues and sector developments. The Central German Intensive Care Days and Leipzig Wound Days were integral parts of the congress.
Throughout the show, over 80 exhibitors presented innovations in clinical and out-of-hospital patient care. The exhibition space featured an assortment of information and communication technology, medical devices, care aids, and hygiene products. Health service providers and specialist publishers also made their presence known.
