About this Edition
TASTE 2022 unfolded as a vibrant showcase of Italian food and wine, along with contemporary food culture, in Florence. The event, which ran from 26 to 28 March 2022, took place at Fortezza da Basso and brought together a diverse array of participants.
Embracing the theme 'Taste the Unexpected', TASTE 2022 provided a journey of discovery across various levels of the venue. The exploration began on the Upper Level of the Main Pavilion, moved through the Ground Floor, and culminated at the Cavaniglia Pavilion. Here, a spacious shop awaited attendees, filled with a selection of products.
Throughout the show, the focus extended beyond food and beverages to include kitchen lifestyle, professional equipment, and packaging. The event also featured the Arena, where a rich programme of talks, meetings, and demonstrations took place. Experts, renowned chefs, and passionate newcomers shared their insights, with debates curated by Davide Paolini.
In addition, the digital dimension of TASTE 2022 was present through Pitti Connect. This platform allowed for an early start to the connections, with exhibitor pages going live from 16 November 2021.
