About this Edition
Sirha Lyon, a leading trade fair for the food service, catering, and food sectors, took place in Lyon, France. The biennial event, despite the challenges of Covid-19, saw impressive attendance and sales in its 2021 edition. The success set high expectations for Sirha 2023, which ran from 19 – 23 January. The event at the Eurexpo venue welcomed over 149,000 industry professionals for a four-day showcase of food tastings, competitions, seminars, and networking opportunities.
Throughout the show, Sirha 2023 featured a vast array of products from sectors such as food, bakery & confectionery, café & bars, and spirits & wines. The event served as a platform for start-ups and innovators from various backgrounds, including traditional restaurant professionals and take-away and fast food operators.
In addition, Sirha 2023 offered a rich supporting program with food demos, round tables, workshops, and food tours. The Club CHIC, an assembly of designers and architects, provided consultations on shop and restaurant designs and outfitting. The French Bakery Cup and the International Trophy of Taste Transmission were prominent contests that ran throughout the fair.
